I get the same error, even though I downloaded from your link.

I have a Fuji FinePix 2650. It's a digital camera, a camcorder, and a webcam.

If you receive the blank white screen, please close the program and unplug your camera. Plug your camera back in and then load the program. This should fix the problem. If not then you may have an incompatible camera. We are working on a second version of Web Camera Security System that should increase compatibility for the cameras that do not work with version 1 of the software.

For runtime error 11:

Please download newest version 8/8/2006 with new error trapping:
http://www.dreamstruct.com/products/WebCamSecuritySystem/WCamSv1.exe

Can you tell me if this message pops up before you receive the error:

"Please choose a compression for your AVI's so file size is small for large recordings.

[Do not use Full Frame or No Recompression if Listed] Visit Help Forums to Add More Compression Codecs"

Hi,

I downloaded the trial version to see how it suited my needs / camera etc.

I tried to send a test email and got runtime error 339 - mswinsck.ocx missing/invalid/not registered. I don't have this file.

I also got this after it noticed motion and tried to send an email.

What's the best way to get this file?
.. and the best version to use.

OS:WinXP Home; 2.66GHx CPU; 512MB RAM

Thanks,
Tim

Thank you for pointing this out. mxwinsock.ocx as well as other dependency libraries are now included with in the newest setup file. All you need is to run the newest install file and it should work fine after this. Don't forget to plug your webcam in only after the software has been started.
