I use my Nvidia card's video input with a wireless camera with which to record. Most of the programs I've used will not see the video from this device, other than Version 1.0 of this program I've only seen one program that would see the video (and it would not save properly). If you expand Direct X support there may be issues with this configuration, perhaps giving the ability to drop back to Video For Windows support instead of direct X overlay technology just to expand support for alternate configurations that may be otherwise incompatible.

Thank you for bringing this up, this is an important point of discussion. We understand the concern about a transition from VFW to Direct X. There are differences between these two technologies and as a result of this we plan to continue to provide version 1.0 in conjunction with 2.0. Currently we are working on improving both versions concurrently, but if possible we will combine both into one program with the optional drop back to VFW as you mentioned.
