Development of Web Camera Security System version 2.0 has been under way. The initial release will include many bug fixes and most importantly the transition over to Direct x technology. This switch will allow for more advanced video and audio processing.

Features include:

- Preview while capturing video
- Removing need for vidcap.ocx component
- Advanced Video and Audio codec selection
- 24 Hour Time Stamping
- New and more compact Graphical Interface
- Greater stability

Version 1.0 will still be available for download and will continue to be supported.
